Registration Category:

NOTE: For regular and workshop papers, one author per paper must pay the full non-student registration fee (either IEEE member fee or non-IEEE member fee), in order to partially cover the publication costs of the paper. Thus, if a student is the sole attending author for a paper, he or she cannot register at the reduced student rate. If a student and a professor will both be attending, the person paying a full registration fee should submit the author's registration, and the student should submit a non-author registration with its lower student registration fee. If the sole-attending author is a lifetime IEEE member, he or she may e-mail us regarding a discount.

NOTE: Authors of multiple papers with only one attendee
If several papers are going to be presented by a single attendee, and no other authors will be attending the conference, the second and subsequent papers require a publishing fee of 50% of the registration fee ($260 for IEEE members and $330 for non-members). If the second or other papers are over the page limit, those extra pages still require the appropriate extra page charge ($100 per page over the limit). Please note with your registration which second and third etc. papers are also covered by this registration, as well as the number of pages of each paper. Please also send an E-mail to the Registration Chair and Publications Chair describing which papers are covered under the single registration.

Example: Paper X is 8 pages, paper Y is 9 pages, and only one author will be attending. The author needs to pay one full registration ($525 IEEE member, $660 non-IEEE) for paper X, plus a publishing cost of 1 * $100 (one extra page) for paper Y, for a total of $625 IEEE member, $760 non-IEEE.

Excess page charges

The page limit varies according to the type of paper:Note that Regular papers can have at most two extra pages.
