IEEE IPCCC 2005: Author Information Page

Presentation Information

Authors of full papers should plan on 20-minute presentations. Authors of short papers should plan on presentations of 12-13 minutes. Authors of poster papers should make their own posters for display. We will provide computer projectors for displaying PowerPoint or similar presentations. Authors must provide their own laptops for the presentations.

Registering to Attend the Conference

At least one author per paper must pay the non-student registration fee by January 21, 2005. Registration is required for the publication of your paper; failure to register will result in your paper being removed from the proceedings. Note that one full (non-student) registration fee must be paid for each paper published in the proceedings.

Manuscript Preparation

Final manuscripts must be submitted to the Publications Chair by January 21, 2005. 

Page Limits for Regular Papers
Each regular paper may have up to 8 pages without extra charge, and may have up to two extra pages at $100 per extra page. The paper will not be included in the conference proceedings if its length exceeds 10 pages. The extra page charges must be submitted with your camera-ready manuscript.

Page Limits for Short Papers
Each short paper may have up to 5 pages without extra charge, and may have one extra page at $100 per extra page. The paper will not be included in the conference proceedings if its length exceeds 6 pages. The extra page charges must be submitted with your camera-ready manuscript.

Page Limits for Workshop Papers
Each workshop paper may have up to 6 pages without extra charge, and may have one extra page at $100 per extra page. The paper will not be included in the conference proceedings if its length exceeds 7 pages. The extra page charges must be submitted with your camera-ready manuscript.

Page Limits for Poster Papers
Each poster paper may have up to 2 pages without extra charge with a poster paper registration fee The paper will not be included in the conference proceedings if its length exceeds 2 pages. The registration fee must be submitted with your camera-ready manuscript.

Manuscript Submission Checklist

If you are using LaTeX to prepare your paper, check out these LaTeX Macros (useful to those authors using LaTeX).

Your submission to the publications chair should contain all of the following:

  1. Signed IEEE copyright form (general information, pdf form, html form).
  2. Manuscript, formatted as specified (refer to these guidelines) with the page number written lightly in pencil on the BACK of each page.
  3. Registration fee and extra page charge (if applies) for your paper.
  4. Payment for extra page charges (if needed). Make checks payable to IPCCC 2005.
  5. Email the PDF file of your paper to ipccc2005@asu.edu. Please use ipc123.pdf as your file name, where 123 is your paper number (contained in the acknowledgement message to your submission).
  6. Please make sure that you follow the IEEE requirements for creating PDF files for IEEE Xplore. Failing to do so may result in your paper not included in the conference proceedings.

    Please note that you need to submit a hardcopy as well as a softcopy of the paper. The hardcopy should be mailed to the Publications Chair and the softcopy should be emailed to ipccc2005@asu.edu. Please make sure that both the hardcopy and softcopy along with other registration materials are received by the Publications Chair by January 21, 2005.
